Plan & Subscribe — Connections (free) next to Full Elementar.

Elementar has two plans. Connections is free and covers the core workflow: connecting your fund-administration portals, building a searchable document archive, sending digests, and answering document questions through Lumos. Full Elementar is a $100/month upgrade, currently in Beta, built on top of Connections — it adds Rosetta, Elementar's structured-extraction engine, and the per-fund dashboards built from it. This article covers what's in each plan, what Lumos does today versus what's rolling out, how to subscribe or manage billing, and a short summary of the security posture behind both.

Two plans at a glance

Connections — Free. Portal sync, document archive, digests, and Lumos Q&A — at no cost.

Full Elementar — $100/mo (Beta). Everything in Connections, plus Rosetta structured extraction and dashboards.

Full Elementar rows marked "Included" are in Beta and enabled account by account — see what Full Elementar adds below.

What's included free

Every Elementar account, on Connections or Full Elementar, includes:

These are portal-connection features, not extraction features — they work the same whether or not Full Elementar is enabled on your account. Elementar connects to 16 fund-administration portals today, and adds any portal your family office uses in up to 3 days.

Lumos is included free

Lumos, Elementar's AI assistant, is included on every plan — not just Full Elementar. It is built to answer plain-English questions about your portfolio and documents: holdings, cashflows, NAV, and capital calls, and to find any document instantly.

In production today, Lumos reliably handles the document side of that: ask in plain English and it finds and summarizes the right statement, capital-call notice, or NAV report from your archive, across every connected portal. Full portfolio Q&A by the numbers — a specific fund's live NAV, a running cashflow total, an outstanding capital-call amount — is rolling out, and ships as part of Full Elementar's full portfolio Q&A once Rosetta structured extraction is enabled for your account.

What Full Elementar (Rosetta) adds Full Elementar

Full Elementar is $100/month and is currently in Beta. It includes everything in Connections, plus Rosetta — Elementar's structured-extraction engine — and the views built on top of it:

Because Full Elementar is in Beta, it is enabled account by account rather than switched on automatically at checkout. Once it's enabled for your account, the dashboard and structured-data views become available in your workspace.

Subscribing and managing billing

You subscribe to Full Elementar, and manage an existing subscription, from Settings → Billing inside your workspace.

Subscribing opens a secure checkout page hosted outside Elementar, where you enter payment details and confirm the $100/month subscription. Once you're subscribed, the same screen shows a Manage Subscription option instead — this opens a secure billing portal where you can update your payment method or cancel, without needing to email support.

Security & compliance, at a glance

Your data stays in Europe: everything runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, and client data is processed and stored exclusively in European Azure regions (EU and Switzerland), on both plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Connections and Full Elementar?

Connections is free and includes automated portal sync, a searchable document archive, email digests with custom rules, capital-call/distribution/statement labels, and Lumos document search and chat. Full Elementar is $100/month and is currently in Beta — it adds everything in Connections plus Rosetta structured data extraction, per-fund position rollup (paid-in, distributed, NAV, TVPI/DPI), performance dashboards, and full portfolio Q&A in Lumos.

Is Lumos included in the free plan?

Yes. Lumos, Elementar's AI assistant, is included on every plan, not only Full Elementar. Today, Lumos answers document questions — it finds and summarizes the right statement, capital-call notice, or NAV report from your archive. Full portfolio Q&A by the numbers is rolling out and becomes part of Full Elementar once structured extraction is enabled for your account.

How do I subscribe to Full Elementar or manage my subscription?

Go to Settings, then Billing, inside your workspace. Subscribing takes you to a secure checkout page; once you are subscribed, the same screen offers a Manage Subscription option that opens a secure billing portal where you can update payment details or cancel.

Is Full Elementar available on my account right away?

Full Elementar (Rosetta structured extraction and dashboards) is in Beta and is enabled account by account. Subscribing starts the process; the dashboard and structured-extraction views become available once Full Elementar is enabled for your account.

Is Elementar's data handling secure and compliant?

Elementar GmbH is Swiss-domiciled and operates under the Swiss nFADP and the EU GDPR. Client data is processed and stored exclusively in European Azure regions (EU and Switzerland). Each client is an isolated tenant, portal access is read-only so funds can never move, two-factor authentication on portal logins is handled automatically, and portal credentials are encrypted with a key unique to your account, custodied in Azure Key Vault.
